DANCE COMPANY: Yu.S.Artistry
Mission:
Yu.S.Artistry, founded in 2018 in New York City, creates bold, innovative choreography blending ballet, contemporary dance, storytelling, and street dance techniques, developed by artistic director Yuki Ishiguro. In 2023, the company relocated to Bucks County, PA, bringing New York's artistic vision to the region. With 501(c)(3) status, Yu.S.Artistry is dedicated to fostering the local arts community by providing professional opportunities and engaging with local businesses and schools to strengthen Bucks County’s cultural landscape.
In addition to diverse dance techniques, Yu.S.Artistry offers unique insights into Japanese philosophy, such as Wabi-Sabi, Yugen, and Biishiki, imbuing our performances with cultural depth and exploring the beauty of impermanence and grace. By fusing Eastern philosophy and Western movement, we create performances that resonate deeply with audiences on both emotional and intellectual levels.
Our mission is not only to present groundbreaking contemporary dance but also to contribute to the cultural growth of Bucks County. We aim to build strong community ties, offering performances, workshops, and educational programs that inspire and elevate the local arts scene.
