Founded in New York City in 2018, Yu.S.Artistry initially focused on developing contemporary dance techniques and movement methodologies. Over time, its artistic practice evolved into a research-driven exploration of the philosophical and aesthetic principles underlying movement and choreography. Following its incorporation as a nonprofit organization in Pennsylvania in 2024, Yu.S.Artistry expanded its mission to integrate artistic creation, scholarly research, and cultural education.

Today, Yu.S.Artistry is dedicated to uncovering the often-overlooked influence of Japanese aesthetics and philosophy embedded within American modern and contemporary art. Through interdisciplinary performances, academic research, publications, lectures, workshops, and collaborations with educational and cultural institutions, the organization seeks to illuminate these historical connections, challenge conventional art historical narratives, and make its discoveries accessible to broader communities.
